infant/baby room monitor

I buy and use infant/baby room monitor’s.

In case anyone else is as impressed as I was looking at The First
Years 900 MHz Everywhere Monitor.

http://www.thefirstyears.com/products/product.asp?pValue=3998

It looks impressive. It is nearly waterproof and very shock resistant
according to their claims. It definitely looks great.

Until I opened it up. The inside is a mess. Some of the surface mount
components have solder tails as if they were soldered by hand. A
friend suggested that some of the goo was there for waterproofing. I
think maybe so, but there was other stuff wrong with the way it was
put together, especially the circuit board components.

I guess that’s why I got it cheap.

By the way, anybody want to have my baby?
[kidding, just kidding]

Take care.

Overalls, not so comfortable

I think overalls are cute and like how they look. But I don´t know why
many people think overalls are so comfy. Specially the denim ones pull
you from the shoulders and crotch, and when you sit or bend over they
can be very uncomfortable. Plus when I go to the bathroom it takes
plenty of time to pull them down and up again, specially when you´ve
gota sweater or jacket on and have to get it off also. I´ve ended with
the bib and straps of mine around my hips for the rest of the day a
couple of times already. What do you all think about this?

Chiro: The SOT Blumster…and Major's wife Todde

CHIRO: THE SOT BLUMSTER…and Major’s wife Todde…

Dear Chiro-List Owner,

I am unclear what the situation is with Todd, but I have tried to prevent
his emails from coming through and it causes all my yahoo account groups to
bounce whenever he posts so I just live with it at this time.  Regretfully
while I agree with most of his sentiments and applaud his perspicacity, I
balance being member with having to constantly delete his messages.  I guess
it is something I will have to work out on my own time.  If you have any
suggestions or God forbid if you are Todd, then please know that I am sorry
and hope you do not include me in one of your email broadcasts.

Sincerely,

Dear SOT Blumster (Charles),

I wish you success in you unsubscription from chiro-list.  You will be
relieved to know that the list owner is Kevin Thomas McGann, DC residing in
The Netherlands – not me.

Thank you for your applause for most of my "sentiments" and "perspicacity."

I have deleted you from my emailing list – which is separate from
chiro-list.

Sincerely,

Todd

PS  The name Blum is forever etched in my mind ever since Ms. Blum at Paul
Revere Jr. High (OJ’s daughter went there I think) – years ago – picked up
my binder, ran to the door of the bungalow and HURLED it – papers ended up
flying everywhere.  The classroom erupted in laughter!  What had I done?
Someone had written something nasty about poor Ms. Blum in pencil on my
desk – I swear it wasn’t me.  Indeed, I swore this very thing years
ago..right before Ms. Blum threw my notebook!  During a test, when Ms. Blum
approached, I covered up the nasty note with my hand.  Ms. Blum pulled my
hand away (likely thinking that I was hiding "cheat" notes – but I was not).
She grabbed my notebook, ran to the door and HURLED it outside!  The rings
opened when it hit the ground and my carefully organized notebook scattered
in the wind!  All because some SCHLUMP (not me – I swear) wrote something
nasty about Ms. Blum – and I didn’t have the foresight to erase it before
the test.  Came time to give out grades, Ms. Blum called each student back
to her desk.  I told her she was the best math teacher I ever had (she
wasn’t bad!).  She waxed eloquent about being "the cream of the crop" from
Univ. of Chicago… I got a B I think…

Don’t forget Charles…

SOT guru Major B DeJarnette said: "We must respect each other’s beliefs, as
in,

DeJarnette MB, Cornerstone Am Chiro 1982 Jul/Aug; 82: 22,23,28,34.

This is a wonderful and informative interview with Dr. Major Bertrand
DeJarnette performed by the journal "The American Chiropractor". The article
creates an understanding of how Sacro Occipital Technique was developed and
DeJarnette’s personal feelings about chiropractic. He describes his
formation of the category system of diagnosis, cranial technique and his
vision for the future of chiropractic among other concepts discussed. He
summed up with this note to his chiropractic colleagues, "We must respect
each other’s beliefs. We must support our colleges and associations. And we
must at all times be proud of chiropractic and proud of our calling as
chiropractors."
http://www.soto-usa.org/SOTLiterature/NonPeerArticles/DeJarnetteACJul…

This was a man of purpose; a man of dedication. Over the next 30 years he
researched and developed what is yet to be recognized in the chiropractic
profession as probably the greatest technical approach that we have: a
tremendous gift. The research and the fruits of his research were a
synthesis of his knowledge of chiropractic, osteopathy, and engineering. And
when the research had reached the point where he felt it was ready for
proliferation to the profession, he undertook to teach. With his beloved
wife "Todde" at his side, he began to conduct seminars in various parts of
the country.

With a wife named Todde, he can’t have been all bad. : )

Joe Unger agreed with me at an early CORE conference I seem to recall.  I
like the SOT folks…

As Major said, "we must at all times be proud of chiropractic and proud of
our calling as chiropractors."

My calling as  a chiro is to  PREVENT loss of tiny live and loss of tiny
limbs – and PREVENT more vertebral subluxations than DCs will ever be able
to adjust by hand.

Thanks for reading Charles.

Sincerely,

Todd

Paternity / Conception Date?

We just found out recently that my ex is pregnant, but the father is in
question.
CVS and amnio testing are not worth the risk and are trying to see if
there is
any way to determine who the father is with some certainty.  The facts
are:

As of the 21st of January her HCG level was measured at 411. The other
person was
with her on the 8th of January. I was with her prior to that.

She tested negative with an Answer Early Result HPT on the 14th, but
came up
positive on the 21st (same day she had blood drawn, and again with an
Answer
Early Result HPT).

Given all this, could anyone give me an idea of what the likelyhood
that I am
the father is?  We are unsure of the dates when we had sex, but just
need to rule
out from the 8th of January on.

CRP blood tests

I’ve had a phone call today from the doctors to say the hospital had rung them and want a whole host of blood test re-doing.

Apparently my CRP test was over 50 and 5 or lower is normal.

Anyone had experience with these this test before ?

Weird Dream

I had this dream that I had a baby and My mom was at my house and she said
that she would watch the kids for the week so I could go to NH to see my
grandmother since DH has to work. Then when DH and I got to the airport I
asked him for some money for the week and he gave me only 15$ (DH thought
that sounded about right when I told him about it) but I finaly took his
wallet and took out 50$. Then next thing I knew I was at my gandparents old
house before I was woken up by Bonnie.

ok the weird things.

1.  In my dream I went straight from the hospital to the airport.
2. My mom lives in NH why would she fly out here so I can fly there?
3. My Granparents sold the house in my dream 3 years ago..

The 15$ thing does sound like DH so that is not weird at all.. I never saw
the baby in the dream in fact for some reason the baby was already home when
DH came to get me to go to the airport.

The other dream I had was funny  It was like a tv show.. Right before I woke
up to Xavier crying there was a music montage thing of what everyone was
doing.. lol.. It was the Kelly Clarkson Song that was in the Princess
Diaries 2.. I dont know the name.
and no I never saw that movie.
